In the past year, we've worked hard to support our community. Here's what we've accomplished together.

Year in Numbers:

  • Our director, Dr. Lester, received the ASU MLK Jr. Faculty Servant-Leadership Award
  • 117 Humanity 101 Founders (individuals, groups, or organizations that invest at least $1k in Project Humanities programming) 
  • 24 media stories about Project Humanities
  • We launched our new blog and published 6 stories relating to current social justice issues 
  • 30 events hosted by Project Humanities 
  • 2079 event attendees
  • 9th annual Hacks for Humanity: Hacking for the Social Good was hosted as a hybrid event with 98 participants, 36 mentors, and 32 volunteers
  • 4 Arizona State University partners and collaborators 
  • 16 community partners and collaborators 
  • 1565 Humanity 101 Pledge Signatories 
  • 10 high school and ASU interns
  • 3746 clients supported through Homeless Outreach
  • 1578 Homeless Outreach volunteers
