ASU Project Humanities is proud to receive a Bronze Award in the category of Education, Art, and Culture: Community Engagement (Non-Profit). This award recognizes those who provide opportunities for people to engage with their local communities on behalf of an important cause.  With 315,000+ event attendees, 238 community partners, 8,000+ volunteer hours, and accolades ranging from Martin Luther King, Jr. Diversity Awards to an endorsement from the 14th Dalai Lama, Project Humanities is recognized for its commitment to extending humanity through community engagement. Such an award would not be possible without Project Humanities' Humanity 101 focus on diversity,  equity, inclusion and justice; the Project’s pledge to live and act on the principles of compassion, empathy, forgiveness, integrity, kindness, respect, and self-reflection.

This award gives ASU Project Humanities a special opportunity to thank our many volunteers, interns, staff, student workers, faculty colleagues, and community partners who continue to support and promote the mission of "talking, listening and connecting." According to the Anthem Awards' vision and mission, “By amplifying the voices that spark global change, we’re defining a new benchmark for impactful work that inspires others to take action in their own communities'' (Anthem Awards, 2023).

Whether individuals, groups, or organizations attend an event to discuss important topics or bring friends and family to a volunteer event, there is community for all with ASU Project Humanities.
